Major Moscow's Attacks Disrupt Electricity Across Ukraine's Capital

Energy infrastructure targeted in Ukraine
Ukraine's power facilities have faced escalating attacks in the past few days

During the night, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have resulted in power cuts in extensive areas of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

Nine people were wounded while residents in the city's east were left without electricity and encountered interruptions to water systems, according to local authorities.

Meanwhile, a young boy was killed in a separate aerial attack in the southeastern region in the southern area, as reported by regional authorities.

Moscow has increased strikes on electrical systems over the past few days, while officials has requested "concrete actions" from partner nations to exert influence on Moscow.

"What is required is not symbolic gestures but firm measures - from the America, the EU and the major economies - in delivering protection systems and enforcing restrictions," mentioned in a online statement.

Authorities reported that 450 drones and over thirty projectiles attacked the country's power systems, describing such attacks as "strategic and deliberate" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as winter approaches.

Government representatives said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and repair crews were working to restore power.

A barrage of missiles damaged energy infrastructure and residential structures in the capital.

Several of the people hurt in the assaults on the city have been taken to hospital, as confirmed by city authorities.

Area administrators said the city endured intense attacks during nighttime hours. A young boy died and multiple civilians were injured.

The assaults succeed nights of bombing campaigns in the region, parts of which are currently controlled by Russian forces.

The entire country is under warning for sophisticated projectile assaults, which are more difficult to detect.

Government officials told reporters that Russia was purposely seeking to demolish the electrical infrastructure, with attacks already affecting energy systems.

Authorities confirmed utility staff and authorities were preparing for more assaults.
