Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
